Story
I'm fundraising to help people live well with cancer
I am taking part in the inaugural Solaris Cancer Care Walk Bunbury to support people with cancer and their families in the South West.
A cancer diagnosis is a deeply personal and confronting experience. With more than 13,300 people diagnosed each year in WA the words ‘you have cancer’ extends far beyond the person who receives that diagnosis. As of today, there are 87,000 people in WA directly impacted by cancer.
Many of these will also be living with the long-term physical and psychological impacts that cancer can bring.
That’s why I am taking part in the Solaris Cancer Care Walk to ensure they continue to provide services. Donate to my page and be part of making a difference to people living with cancer in our community.

We work alongside medical treatment to achieve the best health and wellbeing by supporting the psychological, emotional, and physical needs of people affected by cancer through a range of educational and hands-on therapies, living well courses and workshops.
